video golf tips

Thankyou NLP for the advice, will try and implement.
Alas I can't picture the course in my head as I've never played there before, hoping my opponents haven't either!!

First time on a new track seems to help relax me, usually do alright, probably psychological being unaware of all the trouble etc.

Using negatives doesnt work either - DONT think of the trees.
You could use the negatives to your advantage.
DONT go down the middle
DONT hit it close etc

The brain doesnt work with negatives - they are for human language. The brain works in pictures. So dont think of the trees, makes the brain bring up an image of the trees, and your ball going there.
This then accesses the required golf swing that would make your ball go there.
Just remember a time when you have hit the ball they way you wanted, and allow your brain to load up the required golf swing.

birdie man.

if you havent played the course before, just practice a course you have played - it will still help.

Never do any technical practice close to game.

Sorry to be a git, but how come last time we gave poor NLP a bashing and suddenly everyone wants to be mates!?

I have been posting on a forum (connected to my profession) for 7 years and never included my web-site (oh yes, I have one!!!) or offered anything other than advice to people who can't afford tuition or are just hobbyists and don't want to splash the cash.

If I may teach my grandmother to suck eggs, I found posting free advice eventually got to be too draining and demanding on my time......and my integrity as a professional instructor.

I'll bet an hour of my time (vs. in return for an hour's golf tuition) that the same will happen here......

Sorry, I'm happy to be wrong.

what i dont understand is this.
If someone posts a question like
"which instruction sites do you recomend."
how do we know that someone isnt going to put their website on that post. That seems like an advert.

If i was a AM golfer in need of help with my swing, i would look for some free help. my website has quite a few free video tips. Im not looking to make anything from this. I just want to help. It is a shame that in todays world of fraud and corruption, i have to keep saying sorry for a small mistake - a signature web link.

I have tried to remove the website link, but the system says that to much time has elapsed. I have allerted the moderator to the post. The have left in in, for some reason.

I can see that if i tried to answer everyones questions i would be here all day. i will try to answer what i can. The above answe to someones question wouldl help so many golfers.

If i find that this is to demading on my time, then i will have to leave it alone. There is no problem with that.

Again, i find my self saying "sorry" for offending anyone. This is just not my way.

Regards
Andrew

This the message that appears -
"This post can no longer be edited because the maximum edit time has expired "

If someone can help me remove the link then i would do it.

Don't panic NLP. :) I've used internet forums for many years and I've seen plenty of people include URLs in their signatures so that's not the problem as such, imho. I think people only get annoyed when they think that someone's main reason for joining a forum is to promote their business rather than to take part in debate.

The thing is that when you mention your website in your first post on the site, regular users assume that that's the reason why you joined. You may well be here to talk golf but when people see that website link, they tend not to give you the benefit of the doubt.
