valuble advice needed please

i had a set of ping s58 irons and hit them great what i want to know if anyone has the experience is there any difference in the ping s58s to ping s56s without the obvious they are newer remarks thanks beggsy

General consensus from most reviews was that current S58/S57 owners wouldn't experience much difference changing to the S56 so wouldn't be worth it.....
S58 is a nice club.

the reason i ask is because my pro will do me a full set of s56 brand new custom fitted for £67.20 a club and was wondering will there be much difference in the 2 clubs

S58 is a nice club.

I would have to disagree with that. I would certainly say that the S56's are even more of a players club. They are easier to work and do feel better than the 57's. I think they are better iron and if you hit both the 57 and 56 together you would tell the difference. I would also say that the S59 was a better iron than the 58 but thats just my opinion.

A new I20 due out which would indicate that a 55 or something similar may also be in the pipeline.
