V-Steel

Hi, over the weekend I picked up a Taylor Made V-Steel 5 and 3 wood with Stiff steel shaft for the sum of £25, tried them today and really like them (honeymoon period), anyone got the 7 or 9 that they don't use and would like to sell/donate to me

I am watching a few on ebay as well.

7 may be worth getting, but why not stick with the MD 9 or even try a hybrid first - I think about 25-26* is about 9-wood equivalent (not 100% though).

Love my MD 9 but it is on way out, head is knackered and the club is on it's last legs (since something heavy fell on it in the garage,thanks to my better half)

Still love my 3w. For me, none of the newer 3w can perform any better.

Absolutely one of the best 3/5 woods you can get, especially the V steel 2 model that has the round weight at the rear of the underside. Still used on tour..

Still amazes me how long that 7w was, prob bang between the 3 & 5 burner.
