Useless Weather Forecasts

I know I've complained before about these weather forecasts that are just not on the button but......

Both Metcheck and The MEt Office say its lashing down with rain here and will be for the next few hours.



Its foggy - can't see 100 yards. Not a drop of rain in sight(because of the fog I guess!)

Why can't they get this right? Is weather prediction really that tricky with all the modern tech they have?

Mindless jerks up against the wall when the revolution comes springs to mind...

What chance do they have of predicting the weather, when they can't even get the current weather right. Hour by hour forecast shouldn't be wrong for the current hour. Phone someone who lives there up, and get them to look out of the window.

The weather App on my phone's got it right so someone can do it.

If they could predict the weather they wouldn't spend half the so-called weather forecast telling you what weather we've just had and what its like if you could be bothered to look out a window.
