Twitter

Love Twitter, I follow sportspeople mainly, gives you a little insight into more than what you see of them on TV. I don't tweet a lot, but I did have a conversation with ex Everton player Tony Kay the other night, loved it!

One thing though, if your first experience of Twitter is just looking at the website, it won't make any sense. The website is pretty useless to be honest, using a Twitter app on desktop or phone is the only way it makes sense. It's more like an always-on Skype so dipping in and out of a website tends not to make sense and leave people wondering what all the fuss is about.

Eh? How is the website any different to the apps?

My twitter name is in my signature. I love it, and often ramble about irrelevant things...but it is a great medium. I prefer it to Facebook

Well I just won an overnight stay and 2 rounds of golf at Hollins Hall, so I love Twitter :D

That's a cracking prize and will take some beating.

Ahem...

Putting lesson with David howell and a new putter
Wilson fg3 hybrid
Ping Karsten putter
Adizero one shoes
2 ball at royal porthcawl
Calloway stand bag
3 hats
Few dozen balls
Polo shirt
£50 golf poser vouchers

And I keep the karma in tact by donating some of these to H4H.

There's always one who has to show off! ;)

Fair play though that's an impressive haul.

what do people use 'Favourite' for?

I use it for something I want to see later or refer back to but I see many just adding favourite for a comment- a well known golfer did that for my comment this morning and I wondered is it used to effectively say 'thanks' or 'I agree' or 'Like' type of thing?

Yes, that's how I use it, it also brings your account to their attention even though neither of you may follow each other.
