TW - no wonder he's back playing again......

Worth a punt at St Andrews, and Pebble Beach for a double for sure.

If he can finish 4th at Augusta hitting the parts of the course he did, he's gonna clean up this year.

if you think this through logically, TW is not going to be able to play all these events. he'll have his kids at the weekends,

Its all over, his quite frankly beautiful wife has finally seen sense and is to rid herself of the git that is TW.

Now I know that Faldo, Norman, & others have had marriage problems, but all fairly discreet & private like they should be, and which didnt taint their reputations.

But jeezuz, TW is nothing more than a Sex Pest, and quite frankly, should be banned from the Tour, so bad has been his behaviour.

You seem to have quite an unhealthy obsession for the great man are you feeling a wee bit upset that you are not one of his special fans???

These Tiger hate threads are boring if you would rather watch seniors go and watch it you will be the one that will miss out.

Thread = Total joke :D ;)

Yes another TW thread however we are all entitled to our oppinions on the forum thats what makes it so interesting.Even though ChrisMc obviously hates TW he has some good points. After seeing him today in an interview the situation certainly has taken its toll,to me he looks to have aged a bit and hes certainly less muscle bound, however seeing him at Augusta made imo a much better atmospere and definatley lifted players games.

If anyone else were to display the kind of behaviour ON the course that TW does/did, I would be as vociferous in my condemnation of them too. But he simply sets new standards of petulance/arrogance imo, and does nothing to endear himself to anyone.
Just because he is so talented with a club (never questioned), does not his actions & beahviour excusable, in fact, all the more reason for him to try and act within the required etiquette of the game.
But, he clearly thinks he is bigger than the game, and indeed anyone, such is his wealth, which considering that all of that wealth has come FROM the game, I think is disgraceful. Thats all.

Clearly, some of you are far more blinkered/relaxed/tolerant, and will continue to adore the guy, whatever his actions.

But, seriously, the guy is a t@sser of unequalled proportions, even before these latest 'allegations'.

I concur with Chris.

The advert of him looking into the camera with his dad's voice in the background as if saying "I lost my way because I lost my best mate and father, I have made mistakes by having affairs and acting like a spoilt child on the course.. I confess my sins"... 3rd hole of his return, throws club down and has a little fit.

Using your late father as a marketing campaign for Nike is just sick and I would have thought the lowest of the low, yet gets over looked.

Not really seen much of his wife until the current unpleasantness, she's georgeous. He needs a bloody good slap- too good for him, too young for me, ho hum....

Makes me laugh all this 'what was he doing, his wife is georgous' malarky.......that is the thing,no one actually knows anything....maybe she is a right moaning po faced cacky bag and a crap ride too! :)

when did you meet mine mate
switches pc off and hides............... :(

Fair play to the man I say, it maybe morally wrong, but then we are not all saints are we? I am not a fan of his, but given the chance to emulate what he has done I would jump at it!!

:)

Well, she was up to his standards at least a couple of times.

Not sure this is in the right section.

Frankly most of us would have done the same, we are animals after all. I doubt any of us could say for sure we wouldn't in his shoes.

I would believe the article more if it was in the Daily Star, got more issues with the Mail than TW.

Me thinks the lady do'th protest too much

By the way, Faldo + divorce certainly does not = discreet

When Faldo, etc were in their pomp the media instrusion wasn't anything like it is now. They may well have been sleeping with women all over the place and it may well have never been reported. We'll never know.

What TW did was wrong and he's paying the price.

With regards being banned from the tour, that'd be setting a dangerous precedent. I don't know what you do for a living but say you were unfaithful and it all became common knowledge and you were sacked, how would you cope?

As I say, he's paying the price - he's lost his wife, his sponsors and, most importantly, daily contact with his children. That's punishment enough in my book.

AW: There is a 'slight' difference to me, or anyone, being 'unfaithful', and someone paying for sex with at least 12 women, and allegedly dozens more.

Similarly, I hardly think him losing 'his job' will impact his lifestyle for the rest of his days.....

He has abused his position and reputation, all gained from Golf and the PGA, and so far, no-one has the balls to stand up and say anything and make a stand.
Ditto with footballers.

Get real !

No idea where to start. I really don't see what the problem with Woods is. Without him the guys wouldn't be playing for the money they are now. Kids wouldn't be coming into the game from a very early age and which as members of clubs are the backbone of a club continuing successfully.

He has raised the standard of golf to a new level and forced everyone from top amateurs up to the leading ights on tour re-evaluate their approach to the game.

As for kicking him offtour for sleeping and even paying for sex - get real. What about another so called role model in Rooney paying for sex. Should he never kick a ball again. YoOu can't have double standards just because its Woods. I personally don't really care what goes on off the course. He's done wrong on a grand scale but losing e day to day access to his kids will be a huge and painful reminder every day to him. Its not the divorce he's worried about - lets face it he can afford any settlement and still be reasonably comfy in his lifestyle.

I'm not sure why the huge downer on him or why you think he should now live away from the game he has ultimately done so much to build. Surely by turning his back or in your argument being forced out is a bigger betrayal than anything he has done in his private life. He is not the only player to chuck clubs or act in a "petulant" manner which seems to really upset you. Should all golfers guilty of such heinous crimes be equally casitgated.
