Turning 40...........

As we all know some fellas are 40 in the head when they are 22, some are never 40 despite being 50-odd. It's just a number, just feel comfortable who you are. I'm 42 now and turning 40 didn't bother me one bit.

I had a great 40th birthday party (even though didn't want one) with 90 odd people who I really wanted to be there, not just hangers on. I played Carnoustie with 4 close mates. I had a great year.

Still playing 5 a side, going the match, going on golf adventures, and if LFC get further in the UEFA cup, may get my passport out again.

Life's grand. enjoy it.

I'm taking bowls up when the 5 a side stops though.

Coincidentally Val, 1 year from today is my 40th. Nothing planned yet as I'm leaving it all up to the boss. I am dropping hints though. Maybe a nice lttle trip to RCD or Trumptown.... Mmmmm....

Turning 40 on march 21st. Not sure what I'm doing yet but hoping my wife will sort something nice. You are only as young as the women you feel. And my wife is 27 so thats me ok then.

Ive got 40 coming up in March. Im not sure what were doing yet but I'm sure they'll be some Drinking and some Golfing going on.
 
Happy birthday. '73 really was a good vintage year. I'm 40 in July, won't be doing anything special as we have blown the savings on a holiday to Turkey at easter far too far away from the golf courses. so just a quiet one.
 
My love treated me to a romantic weekend at Monachyle Mhor hotel. A bit of luxury, great food, did some hillwalking and some cycling. Brilliant. And it wasn't all that long go before anyone starts!
