I had a round of sandwiches tonight and very good they were too.

Anyone else still having them 4-5 days on? I think that I might be pushing my luck if I have more tomorrow what do you think?

Can you show HID how to list clubs on the for sale section, I don't reckon you'll be here much more!

I'd maybe eat it Boxing Day.
After that,not a chance.

Then you'd be wasting perfectly good food. 3 days is the usual length of time that its is not recommended to use after, but providing food has been cooled and stored correctly then 4 days is no problem.

As long as it's stored correctly it is good for a few days.

just imaging it now, opening a fresh loaf of Warburtons super thick bread. Coat one piece with cranberry sauce and the other with mayo. Some nice thick slices of Turkey and some stuffing in there too. Cut a chunk of Pork Pie and chunk of mature cheddar. A nice glass of Port and sit down In front of the TV.

With a handily placed bucket!

Slime.

You lot worry too much. My ex wife worked in quality control at many food processing plants so knew all about food storage and what will get you ill. She never worried about eating Turkey that was a few days old and she's the person that knows all about it.

indeed, I used to be a chef and and the food safety regs allowed us to store cooked meat for up to 72 hours (3 days).

I know you're right,I'm just a bit weird with chicken & Turkey.

Turkey curry and stock made from the carcass last night, the leftover gravy (itself made with the turkey offal) from christmas day has gone in the curry. We'll eat the curry tonight and the stock will make good soups for the rest of this week. Nothing wasted, all delicious, and nothing risky about any of it.

As long as its prepared and stored correctly there is nothing to worry about. Probably more likely to become ill from heating leftover rice....
