as i have recently started playing golf more and more i have just encountered a massive problem that im sure a few of you have had, she has said im playing to much golf how do i get around her?

lol no shes not but she thinks that she is in charge

Re educate her! Every adult human is in charge of its self. Easiest way I know is to do whatever I want (as does hid) and make sure she knows I love and respect her. My huge manhood helps... :D

take her with you and play like cr*p,after5 hours trudging about looking for your ball she will get fed up and never go again and admit your cr*p and need the practice.

Grow some balls and tell her to be quiet.

I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would have an issue with someone taking 4 hours away, to play some golf, or to anything for that matter.

Would you stop her going out for lunch with her friends? No. Because they'd lynch you.

First we gave them the vote and now this......

I play practice rounds during the weekday evenings and schedule in the good comps and medals. Bank holidays I normally save for her and the odd weekend. Bit go give and take, if I'm wanted for a team or pairs I make my partners ask her, then she can't say no!

It's all about give and take, do you feel like you've played alot recently? I know when I'm pushing my luck and so adjust accordingly. The summer is always te worst as light evenings give us more opportunity to play so my reasoning is that it balances out over the winter when I'll only play Saturday mornings. I've also adopted another tact of playing later. Get the kids sorted etc then disappear to the club at about 7 giving me time for a practice session or quick round. My secret weapon is getting my eldest into the game which means I have to take her up to practice, of course I join in!

Just tell her that golf is something that you really enjoy doing, and that if she's trying to stop you from doing something you like that isn't bad for you, and doesn't immediately affect her in a bad way, then tell her to do one.

id have to agree with this, just tell her its something you enjoy doing then why should it be a problem. im sure if you add up all the time that you spend with her during a week it will out way the time you play golf alone. just make the time you spend with her count then how can she complain!!
