As for me, I prefer booking tickets and hotels on my own. Agencies usually cooperate with hotels and thus you pay more than you could've paid if you traveled on your own. You can find cheap flights on skyscanner and then find a decent hotel for a decent price. For example, last year I got cheap tickets (it was sheer luck like it usually happens with skyscanner) and found this agency offering Calpe rental apartments and got a hotel room in 100 meters from the beach. I paid €400, and it's €100 cheaper than I'd pay if I used the agency's services.

To be fair to the bot/noob trying to sell holiday lets in Calpe. Its a beautiful town and if you go, climb the Penon de Ifach! Its amazing!!

Just booked 2 nights at a spa hotel down near Malaga. €81 for the 2 nights. There's deals to be had if you book independently.

You know what Hobbit, I have always surfed the net when booking hotels etc. Follow secret escapes when there “ deals” Are On and sometimes there not such good deals. However the “ Which” magazine has said over the last few days that 80% of the time. The cheapest deals are done by contacting the hotel direct. Bottom line, do your homework.
Currently looking to have 5 days in Ypres next year ( RBL band is playing at the memorial and I organising a bus load to go)and it looks like the best hotel deal will be through the coach company Contacting the hotel direct.

Hotel local to us does a great deal on Booking.com, usually around €50 out of season. Fab hotel, amazing food... I contacted them direct for an overnight stay after the end of season 'do.' €32 for B&B in a lovely double room with a decent en-suite. Breakfast was more than just a continental too. Cheaper than taxi round trip from the village.

Not sure if it's still actual considering the whole situation, but I guess it's important to find a proper agency that wouldn't rip you off. https://onewaytour.ge/incoming-tours/ these tours seemed moderately priced. Well, it will be useful for some fans of exotic countries like me :) I was going to Georgia in a couple of months, now I have no idea what to do.
