I'm fancying spending some of my Christmas bonus on a top of the range pair of shoes this year, I really wanted some Lambda's but they are hard to come by unless I go direct to Lambda then I have the trouble of maybe getting the wrong size and faffing around sending them back. Do you have any suggestions as to the pair I should consider?
Thanks all.

I really fancy a pair of the Stuburt DCC shoes.

Had stuburt ones before and really liked them, very well made, very comfortable and lasted well. Sadly they don't do that particular model anymore!

One my possible christmas list........

Edit: Oh the redfire (?) ones that Jason Dransfield is sponsored by look pretty good aswell.

I certainly like the look of the Redfire shoes. If I am spending a bigger chunk of cash on a pair of shoes then I want something different that nobody else will have.

Too sporty I like a traditional style shoe. Anyone had the Stubert DC's?

I had a pair. They looked great however they weighed a ton, they took 6 months to break in and the leather cracked after 9 months of reasonable spring/summer use. I wouldn't get them again.

I'd go Ecco GTX or Puma Cell Fusion every single time.

Anything but FootJoy... if ever a firm has lost its mojo, then they are it. You can put all the outriggers on them you like, they still look like they were designed by people who are illiterate in modern design aesthetics.... dullsville. And 200 notes for the new ones... get real.

Yes to... Puma fusion, Nike Dunks, Redfire, Ecco, Kikkor

Edit: ^^^^ in my opinion ;) ^^^^^^^

As mentioned above go look at www.redfiregolf.co.uk great shoes and great prices. The guys at RedFire will really look after you all, just mention I sent you. I had Stubarts in the past and they weighed a ton, did take ages to break in and after 6 months the sole fell off.

I do like the look of the Redfire shoes but all the decent styles are in brown!!!!

I like the look of the Royal & Muirfield, not sure how they would look with shorts in the summer though:)

That said I'm nearly 40 so maybe my short wearing days are behind me.

The cheapest Nebuloni's I have seen were £250, I guy I know from Germany bought some they almost crippled him 1st time out.
