I missed it- I was watching the football (which has been hugely disappointing) but I am a top gear fan so I take it it's worth watching the repeat? I would have turned over if I remembered.
Hunter, it will be on i-player on the beeb web site in the next couple of days. I think it is the best thing on telly and one of the few things that makes me laugh out loud (the other being Birdieman being so unPC).
thanks for the link Mad. I have virgin plus though so I can watch it later on tonight using the 'catch up tv' function. Cheers anyway- I will make sure I watch it. Is birdieman's political correctness similar to Mr Clarkson's?
I have sky+'d it. I don't think it was very well advertised, I only saw it in the schedules by accident. It is normally repeated. I have to agree with opinion on here, it IS one of the most entertaining shows on the box. They all complement each other brilliantly. BTW I was at the airfield yesterday where Hammond nearly bought it.
Three middle aged men going through a (scripted) mid life crisis, that really should know better.
But I can't help but love it.
I'm sure that there is a part of all of us that would wish to do half the stuff they get upto on the show.
The fuel economy test was just so twisted, but clever, (in a childish kinda way!). Amuzing nether the less.
Get the 3 of them commentating on the golf, they hate it so I reckon it could be quite funny. Talking of which I've heard a rumour that Hamster is to do the F1 when it comes back to the Beeb.
I watched the program earlier and absolutely cracked up. Almost as much as during the episode when they went to play golf. I take it you all saw that one? Can you imagine that lot turning up at your course and seeing Clarkson empty someone's bag out on a green. The members looked less than impressed.
1.7 miles per gallon in the Ferrari !!!!!!!! Thats disgusting.
I fuelled up next to a guy in a Bentley Continental and he said it cast him £136 from the quarter tank mark and he does that 5 times a month ... JEEEEZ US !!!!!
