So tomorrow is the day, round 4 of our singles KO, I'm picked against a very steady 13 capper who hits the ball a mile... And for some reason Im not sweating one bit. recent form has seen the club champs and captains day win in less than a 3 week window so all feels good. What's better he didn't want to play me in "current form"..... My OP's words Sunday morning not mine so I took great pleasure when I had to advise him deadline for our match is Friday. Kinda feel like I have an per hand which is unusual.

Bring it on,

How's everyone else getting on in their ko's

Made the final of class 2 club championship yesterday.
Few weeks yet and can't wait.
Current form is best of my golfing career! Long may it continue / improve.

Oh dear, all that confidence. I can see it only going one way

Good luck though

Ps play my first ever doubles matchplay tomorrow. Really looking forward to it.

Lost in quarters of both the scratch and HC KO but into the final of the men's foursomes

Got hammered 6&5 in the first round of one, in the semi of another... Possible opponent, the person who hammered me... Revenge! Can't wait.

strangely played a 13 in the QF today

3 down after 4 wasn't the start I had anticipated but 1up walking off the 18th is what counted.

good luck

Forget to put my name down before entries closed in the single scratch and handicap comps. Won from 5 down 6 to play in 4 babb summer knockout and move on to next round

Good luck Baz!

Good luck tomorrow bud, I did wonder if I'd jinxed it but if I'm honest I think my golf is in a good place, thing I love with match play is you can have a right stinker of an hole and drop 1.... To make the finals of the singles this year was my goal and so far the matches have had comfy wins, these were all when my golf wasn't as stable as it is now.

Good luck to all those still in there fighting for the silver wear

I made it to the second round of both men's knockout, but then lost one and had to give the other guy a walkover.

Lost the second round of the men's pairs too.

Have made it to the 3rd semi-final in a row of the mixed pairs (although we've only had to play 2 matches to get there).

Good luck, Baz, although I'm sending this telepathically to, as you won't be able to read this in time!

Into the quarters for our Knockout. Drawn a 11 handicapper that shot 44 points sunday gone. Going to have to bring my A game for the match. But slow and steady wins in matchplay, I like to grind them down with pars.

Lost my quarter final on Sunday on the last. Had a shot but put 2 balls into the bushes after my opponent had also gone in there with his tee shot.

The clubs started serving old mout... Bit sweet but very refreshing

Foreign cider  boo hiss

Yeah it is a bit too sweet

I'm more a Thatchers person - ( it's brewed down the road from my folks ) grew up on the real scrumpy

Stowford is a really good cider as is Somersby ( another foreign one :( )
