I know it isnt matchplay but This afternoons golf ought to be a entertaining one.
Camillo Villegas and Rory
Clarkey and Tiger
Goosen and McDowell
Westwood and Casey
Calcavecchia and Oosthuizen

Plenty of other big names still in contention too.

Good conditions for Open links golf forecast later - breezy and dry. Should sort the wheat from the chaff.

Disapointed with Rory yesterday looked like he lost his dummy because the wind was blowing, surely as a pro he should be able to mentally adapt to every condition.Like poulters outfit hes wearing today looks very smart.

I think you forget that Rory has only been a pro a very short time and is still learning, he just had one of those days were he couldn't stop the bogeys.

He will sort it I am expecting a much better number today

I agree with Pokerjoke, I thought he could have been 3 or 4 better if he'd focussed properly like Woods or Faldo in his day would have done. He's good enough to do that but he got down on himself mentally early instead of really thinking about what he was doing to minimise damage in tough weather. With his NI upbringing he should have been able to cope better.
If he loses the Open by 2 or 3 he'll hopefully think carefully about his attitude on the Friday.

I know there were high scores as well as rorys, but what im saying is as a pro mentally they should be stronger.Darren clarke was interviewed earlier and was ultra posotive about the wind and said youve just got to get on with it,as someone said as a seasoned pro they are probably more posotive. Also isnt this a time for the caddy to say come on son dig in damage limitaion, and theres always tommorow.Maybe he did but it didnt seem to have any effect.

I did hear one thing to Rory's credit on radio 5 today.
when he completed his round he was asked by his management team if he wanted to skip all the interviews. he chose to do them.

He is a decent guy who enjoys what he does for a living. In case anyone noticed they were playing in Gale force 7 to 9 conditions. Battling and mental toughness is one thing, add in a suspension of play and the odd bit of rain, its bound to affect you unless you are a robot. Give the guy a break, his interview was forthright and mature, he never tried to blame anything and still sounded very interested in trying to climb the leaderboard.
I didnt hear anyone complaining about him making it look so easy on Thursday.
