Digging a hole for myself
Medal Winner
So, what with the beautiful weather and the encouragement I received from my first post earlier on the week, I booked a last minute tee time at The Hampshire today.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself and shot 118, which would have been better if I had more confidence in my woods and driver and if I hadn got tired and started 3 Putting far more than normal.
First time on that course. Quite interesting although the tees are a bit messy and uneven and the greens are patchy (one member told me there had been some disease or other). Quite an entertaining layout though.
So, encouraging for me at least. Need to keep my concentration when putting and work on my tee shots, but played some good iron and wedge shots (which is what I've been working on) so can't complain!
Lesson tomorrow so hopefully try to remedy some of the errors from today.
