60.04 means that it hasn a 60degree loft with 4 degree bounce. This explains it better for you...

I have 4 degree bounce as I play on links and generally find myself playing off tight lies. Therefore I need something that hopefully will slide itself under the ball.
I usually only use my wedge if I find myself with something (bunker/burn) between me and the pin and I have to get it up and down again quickly.

What one would you recommend for bunkers and shots around the green on a parkland course.

a 56 degree with minimal/low bounce.

60 is a bit o.t.t. for regular bunker shots, and if you do need to get one out to a close pin, just crank open the face.

I've had the same Mizuno tour 56 with low bounce for years, it sits tight to the ground for scary lies and rarely lets me down. Not too much spin mind you, but then again I tend to land short pitches short anyway.

Slightly off beam but this has been bugging me. There are not a few of you who, having spent some serious dosh on new wedges 'can't wait for them to rust'. Why?

It also cuts down the glare that my last vokey wedge (non rusting) used to blind me each and every sunny day. Its mainly a characteristic of the materials used to make the head though.

I have spin milled 54 and 58° oil can finish wedges. They used to rip the ball to shreds when they were new, but now they are a year old they are fine. That said, they don't spin like they used to, but I see this as a good thing, because they were a bit silly.
I bought oil can not so it would rust (which they haven't really), but to cut down on the glare. My irons are bright chromed, and are a nightmare on a sunny day. The satin finish which was the alternative I thought looked cheap.

All of you that have said you use wedges between 52 & 60 degrees do you carry a pitching wedge as well or does your set go from 9 iron to 52/54 wedge?

I ask because I currently have a set of Ping i3 irons and a Titleist gap wedge at 56, which sits between my Ping PW and SW. I was thinking of replacing my Ping PW and SW with two more Titleist wedges but have checking the loft on my Ping Pw which is 48 degrees. The smallest loft on a Titleist is 52 and I am concerned that this would leave too big a gap between my 9 iron and the 52 wedge.
