My Titleist D3 came yesterday, so went up to the course at 18:40 last night and got 13 holes in (I love british summertime) it is without doubt the best driver I have ever hit.

To sum it up "it feels like i am cheating" I was hitting places I normally only get downwind or in the dryest days of summer, it looks beautiful to I have the Ahina X flex 72g shaft option so black head black shaft black grip, I could not be happier with it

It is early days but I can not recommend it highly enough

:D :D

Congrats sir, another happy 910 user. As I said before, I am not sure Titleist have make a bad club in the last few years, everything of theres I try I love.

Is that the Made for shaft in X-Stiff? nice and heavyish too

Yes its the Ahina x flex for Titleist very solid

I'm going to have to give the 910 a bash as well.

I've been considering the R11 for a while, I've always had TM drivers and when I've tried them against other brands\models I always seem to get the best results with them.

I tried the R11 on a Launch Monitor the week it came out and didn't really get much difference between that and my R9.

I've been going through some swing changes recently, so didn't want to change while that was going on, but things are settling down now. So probably about the right time to investigate.

But there does seem to be a lot of very happy 910 owners out there.

Picking my D2 up on Saturday - stock Diamana 'ilima 71 shaft (orangey-red).

Tried the Superfast and was turned off by the head colour (and the fact I couldn't hit it). Felt that the R11 would be equally unappealing, even though it would have been a better driver than the Superfast, as I tried the R9, which the pro said was fairly similar and did okay with it.

However, the D2 was simply love at first, second, third, fifth hit onwards (fourth was pretty cr*ppy though!) ;)

I've had a D2 with Project X 7D3 stiff for 4 days...and like most of the reviews, it is TOTALLY awesome! I've been reaching bunkers at around 270-280 I never looked before. Stats with Kalli were good but also just a better launch with project x.

Can really go after the ball and get a great flight and it just bounces forward on landing. Hit one 320 (wind behind at weekend), but generallycarrying 240 with a standard shot, rolling to 260-70!

Hit my previous driver well, but this is nuts...even mishits go well. First time I've been custom fit for a driver (did irons last year). Great stick!

It does seem to be a helluva piece of kit, I'm loving mine.

Considering its still early in the season, the air has'nt been that warm yet, the ground not that hard etc, some of my 'start of season rusty swings' have still sent the ball out to 260/27yds, (measured), but more importantly, on the short stuff !

I never got on with the 909D2 I had 2 yrs ago, dont know why, but my D3 is here to stay.

Is the difference between the D2 and D3 just the head size ?

Also can you stop eulogizing about them, otherwise i may be forced to try one out, with possible expensive consequences. ;)

There is a bit of difference with the spin and launch too(so they say)

Go on you know you want to try it :D

Would anyone say whether they are as easy to hit as an R9 Supertri? I have always heard of Titleist drivers being very unforgiving? I imagine I would be looking at the 460cc version.

Judging by the number of peeps getting on with them on here, most should find them just as good.
I think its only drawboy having some teething problems, so they arent totally 100% etc, but what Club is ??

I have an ancient WarBird 4 wood, Steel shaft etc, and most wouldnt dream of carrying it in the bag,.......but for me, its my hidden weapon, and know its good for 230yds+ when I need it.
Just shows that all the latest technology isnt always the Dogz, but in the 910's, they do seem to have got things right .

Anyone that hasnt got one, please please dont try one, you know what will happen........

 :D

I tried one in direct comparison with the D2 (with the Diamana 'ilima 71 shaft).

No contest! Far more forgiving and more control from the D2.

I'm booked in for the titleist demo day at Dunham Forest and the pro at my course has also said I can take a few demo clubs onto the course and see how I get on with them.

The Titleist fitters on the demo day will have the standard range of shafts and heads, but also a few custom shafts that few fitting carts have, so make sure to try a few. There is a huge range available and something to suit almost any swing. Except possibly Homer's.
