I'd be grateful of some feedback from those who have made the change in driver from a 913 (preferably D2), to a 915 driver.

I currently have a 913d2 which I have set at 10.5 neutral with a stiff shaft. I like the club and shaft in terms of look, feel and sound but am looking for a opinions/feedback from those with either 915D2 or 915D3.

Would appreciate your help.

Have you hit the 915 and compared it to your current model. Get on a monitor and see what the numbers are like but I would be surprised if there's a huge difference

Thanks for your response. I've heard a couple of comments regarding the 915, and prior to going to get into GC2 numbers I was looking for confirmation of the comments via feedback from those who actually have the 915 driver.

I've gone from 913 D2 to a 915 D2, had the 915 since Jan and have seen both my distance and accuracy improve, I was fitted by Titleist for the 915 opposed to the 913 being bought off the shelf. Love the 915, really great club to hit, I use Game Golf for my Data and used it for the whole of the 2014 with the 913, will get a complete picture at the end of this season, but over the last 20 rounds compared to all of last season on the same course my average Drive has increased by 15yds and my accuracy has increased to over 60%.
If you do upgrade I would reccomend being fitted correctly.

Thanks very much Paul, great feedback from you. How do you find the 915 in terms of feel and sound in comparison to the 913? One of the comments I had heard, mentioned the 915 having a strange noise/sound.

No issues at all and sounds great off the centre ( heard it once 😃), genuinely didn't notice anything!

I did a driver test early in the year in freezing cold conditions and with some pretty poor range balls at the Belfry, I went through 29 drivers and the Titleist 915 came out very well (4th) across all the stats.

The 915 D2 achieved my 3rd best carry but more importantly it was the tightest in dispersion, so overall it was my 2nd best driver stats. What stood out for me was that all the other 28 drivers I was fitted for the manufacturers fitted me with stiff shafts but the Titleist guy had me in regular, my ball speed increased even though my club speed dropped! It was really easy and comfortable to hit, nice sound and I loved the draw bias of the D2 head. With it taped up even my slight off center hits were good enough so I found it very stable and forgiving also.

Its on my birthday list for Wednesday which I don't hold out much hope for so will be transferred to my Christmas list :smirk:

I switched from the 913 D3 to the 915 D2 right enough. According to Game Golf my fairway accuracy has gone up a lot since I started using the 915. Was it worth the £290 I paid for it? probably not, I reckon I could hit my older Ping G15 just as well now.

If you're going to get it, but earplugs. It doesn't half annoy the hell out of your ears at the range.
