Have been looking at these for a while but cant get a demo of one at my club , has anyone tried one or got one if so any good, or any better than a TM TOUR BURNER

I got fitted for a 909 D2 last week and am still awaiting delivery of it, hopefully Thursday at the latest. I just loved the head shape and thats why I went for it over any other driver although I did like the Callaway FT9 but could not justiy that outlay!
I would not like to say its better than the TM as different clubs suit different players better. TM make brilliant clubs and they may suit your game or even your eye better. I would recommend trying loads and with diferent shaft combinations as well.
I tried the launcher as well and loved it however the two shafts they provide didnt offer me the best results. I tried the Cobra range, Ping V2 Rapture and the two from Yonex with the i speed being a very very very close second choice to the Tit.
I wish I had tried the Srixon driver however thy didnt stock it. Overall though I'm delighted with my new toy and cant wait for it to arrive.

So far I'm loving my 909D2, which was sent to me from Titleist after the GM fitting feature in this months mag.
If you are going to get one, I'd urge you to go for a Custom Fit session, as you really cannot choose the one to best suit you without the benefits of the technology they have at Titleist.
I ended up with the D2 in 10.5* with aGraphite Design YSQ shaft, which is Stiff but has a slightly softer tip apparently.
Its early season, and my swing may not be at its best as yet, leaving me trying to currently correct a slight fade with my Driver at the mo'.
However, the signs are good, and after hitting out 430yd Par4 7th at the weekend with a Drive and easy 8 to 5 feet, the love affair has started
Have noticed I need to tee the ball slightly higher than I used to with my G5, but its gives me a very penetrating flight, and the sound is very good too.

Cheers for that, have looked at other drivers but these seem to catch my eye , for me they've got to fit my eye, there's an official Titleist fitting center in Edinburgh got this from there website so will go for this in the near future, but until then the Burner gots the reprive

I haven't tried the TM, but did play a round with the D2, 9.5* with the Matrix Ozik 5 Stiff, on Saturday. Very nice driver, but for some reason the shaft seemed quite soft for a stiff, maybe just my perception, but a very nice club. Great feel off the face, nice noise too it, and that combo had a nice penetrating ball flight. As mentioned, try and find someone with the Titleist fitting station. That way you can try all different loft/shaft combinations. Our club has it so I may try the D3 next with the Voodoo shaft!!!

The Voodoo will hit a lower flight, so may be not for you if you hit the Ozik low.
