Just a note to say that I'm no longer physically able to play golf,
am in failing health,
and thus have nothing of value to contribute to the forum anymore (assuming that I ever did!).

I've really enjoyed the time that I've spent here, however,
and would like to express my best wishes to my friends there on the other side of the pond.

Thanks, guys.

Sorry to hear about your health, best wishes.

Sad to hear about your health Boomer. I've always enjoyed your contributions to the Forum and hope that you will still occasionally dip in. Take care.

I'm sorry to hear that! 😳

I haven't been here very long, so unfortunately I don't know you. 🤷🏽

But I know from other forums that were as close-knit as this one that members might no longer be able to actively pursue their hobby, but still remain active on the forum. Especially when your health isn’t what it used to be, it’s nice to find companionship and support in a big family like this one.

So just stay here with us by the campfire! 🙂 👍

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling. Even though you won't be on the fairways, it doesn't mean that your opinions are no longer relevant or interesting. Just a thought. Best wishes.

Sorry to read that ol' Boomer.
I maybe interpreted your post differently to most - whatever, may your fifteenth club always go with you.

Ciao Chez

Be gutted to see you go YOB, always loved reading your posts, always a different over the waters view. Your priority is yourself.
Look after yourself me man.
All the best Tash.

There are plenty posting here who hardly play golf or haven't played in years! No reason to leave on account of that. 🙂

Guilty m’lord.

I’d love to be still playing but it’s great to read of other golfers exploits. I empathise with their frustrations, celebrate their achievements and, selfishly, it triggers my own memories of that eagle, that chip, that putt.
