Time taken to make swing changes.

Hi,

I was wondering what the general consensus is regarding how many hrs of hitting balls it should take before swing changes become natural?

Also, how many changes it is possible to try make at one time?

I have tried for almost 35 yrs to try and change my angle of attack.
I have failed several times and just gone back to my natural swing.
It’s 4* down , but I am very straight off the tee.
If it’s a small grip change not long ,something complicated takes longer.
It’s under pressure when you find out if you have succeeded.
