Yes, but Yellow balls are easier to see in the sun, one of the reason they where introduced I believe.

Can't see a problem myself. I use a yellow if it's on the misty side. Definitely easier to see in flight in those conditions.

Will chip in my tuppence worth here. I used a yellow ball every time I played in my teens and twenties and loved them. High quality soft balls. Saves having to mark your ball to identify it in your group and much more pleasant to see soaring away into the sun. Have been asking my pro if they do ProV1s in yellow ever since but no joy. Buggar! May have to get some ordered up! I've been using the "3 for a pound" versions this winter again and brings back good memories of all those great matchplay wins in my youth against guys who can't stand them.
