I really fail to see it making one iota of a difference to the Accenture tournament the fact that Tiger has his press conference today.

It hasnt detracted me from it, I dare say not one of the players will be able to stand and say "Tigers press conference put me off" either, and there's still plenty of press coverage from the event itself.

Seriously Parmo, your Tiger sized chip on your shoulder is becoming a bit silly now and you ought to drop it before you get rushed into hospital with high blood pressure.

Love affair? No, I just have the ability to recognise that Tiger has stood infront of the entire world, apologised for his actions, albeit staged and slightly uncomfortable.....he still did it though. For that, whether prompted, scripted or whatever, the guy deserves a break. Its a step in the right direction for him.

I'm also intelligent enough to realise that golf needs its number 1 player back as soon as possible, anyone who thinks that golf doesnt need Tiger is a complete retard!

Regardless of opinions by whoever, the fact that television audiences & tournament revenues etc drop when Tiger doesnt play, coupled with winners of non-Tiger attended tournaments having their win questioned by most along the lines of "would you have won if Tiger was playing?" mean that he is essential to golf.

Not the biggest fan of the guy but at the end of the day the golf he plays is a different world to the rest of the field at times.Ok so the interview was staged its a start, the guy brings the crowds in ,i know i would pay to watch him,

Parmo or whatever your name is ,i think you can write your knowledge of this game on the back of a fag packet. :rolleyes:
