Tiger Woods and his putter!!

There was something years ago that he didn't have to play the Nike putter because it was felt they could not offer anything equivilant to his Scotty.

Given now that they have the Method and it has a couple of major wins from Glover and Cink maybe Nike are being a bit more pushy with Tiger to use their putter?

I would imagine if he really wanted to there would be nothing to stop him going back to the Scotty.

I was under the impression that most pros including brand leader like Woods (Nike) and Mickelson (Callaway/Odyssey) still retain the option on the putter to put in play what works. It's their payday club and so they'd want the one they feel happiest using and to be honest Nike were doing OK out of Woods association whle he was winning majors with the Cameron so I can't see them having too much of an issue if he reverted

Can you imagine the bad publicity if he went back to Scotty as his go to putter. Sales in Method putters would surely drop and it would cause a major issue between him and Nike.
Tiger is a brand for Nike in the same vein as Michael Jordan was, so can't imagine Tiger "rocking the boat", as it's worth too much money to him and Nike.

I dont think hed be short of a new contract off Titleist if he had a little unrest with nike!!! might not be a bad idea me thinks !!!

But Titleist can't offer the package that Nike have ie TW Shoes, TW Polo's etc etc, that you would assume he either takes a percentage of or gets a shed load of cash.

I think people can only pluck figures as to what Tiger gets from Nike.

Who knows!!

I'm sure that if Tiger or his coaches ( or Nike for that matter ) thought the fault was with the putter, then he'd have changed back to the Scotty by now.

I think he's just not putting as well as he did in the past, and at that level it may be difficult to get it back.

Why the clamour for him to play the scotty,the method and the scotty are both copies of the Anser?
It's defo the indian and not the arrow in this case.
