Just wondering if anyone fancied doing a Country Club on the PS3? If there is any interest I will try and set up a Golf Monthly CC tonight or over the weekend then post the details on here if anyone fancies it.

Not tried it with the move controller yet. It might destroy an already fragile swing!

I have had it about a week too, and slowly getting the hang of putting although seem to mess it up when it's a nice easy putt for birdie. I find I overswing the putter every time. Makes it more interesting though not winning every comp like all the older versions.

going away this weekend and in the cabin is a PS3 - looking at getting some kids games for it (Just dance etc) but wondered if this is the best game to play for me and bro in law to play once the kids and wives have gone to bedor any other suggestions for golf games :whoo:

Depends on how many courses you want to buy (or earn). There are lots of courses included and you can also buy the Collectors version (which was actually in Tesco recently) which includes some of the DLC.

But DLC can also be earnt during the game. You can earn coins which can be redeemed against courses too (or you can just splash the cash on the PSN Store).

Really depends on how much of the PGA career mode you want to experience. You can go through a lot of the game without ever seeing the DLC, and you can also skip tournaments that require the extra courses.

Sorry guys I forgot about this thread. I will try and set up an open competition this evening and let you know if I manage to work out how.

Hopefully we can get some more people to join up too. If you have any friends that play it on PS3 get them involved.

Anyone starting out that played last years game should create a new golfer but import the details from last years game. It gives you 75,000 XP to increase your stats with ... Wish I has known that before creating my golfer from scratch.

Wow wish I had known that too!!

Only gave me 20k, but better than nothing!!
