Thunderstorms.....pah. we haven’t had any rain on my garden for ages now. I fear any rain that does fall will just bounce off and go straight into the drains.

A big storm developed just north of Watford about 7.30 last night...went from nothing to armageddon within about 10 minutes.I don't think there were any here. I'm sure they are waiting for Thursday when I have the day off for a round of golf.
Tracked through Leighton Buzzard, got to MK and just evaporated

Not any more I don't. Much as we need rain, that is OK - but hopefully no lightning.
These days there always seems to be some poor buggers house gets zapped.
And that is heartbreaking.

We have had nothing where I live , it's just been stiflingly hot and very humid. Could do with some rain to help the garden and hopefully turn the fish on into having a chew.
Could hear it rumbling away in the distance around 1.00am and prayed it would head to us as it was stifling last night even with the windows opened but nothing. Seen some shocking pictures on FB and the news of some of the flash flooding

Was in Borth on Monday when Aberwysth got hit and then last night had the most amazing lightshow for over 2 hours with thunder and 16mm rain.
