Thoughts on Cobra S2 Driver / Fairway Woods

Hello All,

Just wondered if anybody has any thoughts or experiences of Cobra S2 Driver and fairway Woods?

I have just bought the S2 irons, and I am looking for a similar fogiving Driver/Wood. Are the Cobras OK, or is there something better out there for a similar price?

I have just returned to golf and need all the help I can get (when playing).

I'm not a pro or anything but Ive had my S2 driver for about 4-5 weeks now and I have grown to love it. I have the offset 11.5* and I find if I try to smash it as hard as I can my technique goes and my drive is shocking.
On the other hand when I hit the ball well and with conviction it goes a mile, also the head is very forgiving so anything not out the middle still goes fairly straight and a good distance.
I'd recommend it. Nip to your local shop where you can try it and see what you think!

Sorry should have said that I bought S2 MAX in my original post.

I am just wondering if I should aim to buy a last years model to try and save some cash.

Well, first off it's a 46" shaft which is not great i.m.o.
Secondly, why spend all that money when the "old" cobra drivers "F" and "M" speed from 2008 were fantastic.
Or even an L5V...
