Completely absurd; any club discriminating against new member and those trying to learn the game should be expelled from the golf union. At the very least barred from interclub leagues.

Then the committee should be put up against a wall and shot, but only after they have been tortured first.

Wow, must check what the situation is at my club. I have yet to submit 3 cards as my brother in law whom I play with refuses to do so as his scores are so poor. His best yet is 112. I have broken 100 4 times now with my best being 96, but I have yet to break 100 off the whites. I have shot 101 several times. As our clubs wants handicap cards submitted from the white tees I'm wondering does this mean I wouldn't qualify for a handicap?
