Thinning woods

I have been thinning my 3 wood recently from a tee(the tee is not too low). I think i'm hitting it at the bottom of the face. My irons are great at the minute so don't want to ruin them but does anyone know any drills to stop thinning it?

Have you checked ball position?

Ball position may be too far forward or you may be leaning back.

or you may be trying to look up before the ball has been struck ?
