Sometimes it is the little things that gladden my heart
12 o'clock today I remembered the weather forecast, 12.30 started to mow the lawn, all finished and mower tidied away by 1.10 and down came the rain at 1.15.

Last day in work today at my current unit before moving onto my new one next month.
Cracking morning with the lads, we had a little breakfast club in the mess and then headed back to our crew room, where our Warrant Officer presented me with a lovely slate plaque with the Unit crest, my name and dates I’ve been here. Oh and a lovely bottle of rum
, was a nice little touch from the lads in our crew room who got me a personalised print that lists all the operations and exercises we’ve been on that they all signed as well.
Been a good morning and good few years being here meeting some great people, making friends and being able to have a positive impact on the careers of some really promising young lads and lasses.
Now onward to new and hopefully brighter things.
