My Daughter being accepted into our 1st choice of school.

And my grandson (moving up to High School). However, it's a two minute walk from here and on his way home, which means daily drop ins after school for an illicit snack(s) from his Nan.

Just cleaned my car. Blimey! I'd forgotten it was that colour!!

The little Spanish guy in our corner shop. Popped in for milk, bread & chorizo. He only went and gave us a large, super large punnet of strawberries FOC.

NHS yet again.
No illness, no ailments involved.
Just my "ear trumpets".
I'd been getting irritated by the sound quality despite changing batteries and adjusting their tuning on my phone app.
This morning, when my wife spoke, I had trouble deciphering her - as if I'd not got them in.
The UHW is a 10 minute drive and they have a walk in Audiology help facility. Walked in at 9.45am, left at 10.30 with replacement tubes, replacement ear buds, a wax examination of both ears (clear) and 160 batteries - 2 last about 7/10 days.
