Things That Gladden The Heart

It’s not so Much the English speaking but the English understanding, especially when there’s a problem. 👍
I'm just happy to get through to a person these days. Had a delivery issue earlier this week and needed to speak to someone - no option on Live Chat and telephone just gave the same 3 options that were no use to me. Both sessions got 1/5 feedback but this won't change anything as they didn't ask why I gave a low score.

👍 one of those “ please can you give us feedback as we listen”.
Am sure they do.
British Gas’s feed in tariff team raised my Blood pressure through the ceiling.

I commented on the laughter thread earlier about a stretch of the A1 southbound going through N Yorkshire having a succession of potholes for a disturbing distance. I have just seen on a news thread that this is going to have emergency repairs in the next day or two. A whole junction from Leeming Bar.

Good stuff, it was dangerous.

Only another 300 years until V1 hits the sun's Oort cloud (maybe, if the Oort cloud exists) and 30,000 until it leaves. Only at that point will it really have even left the (gravitational) solar system - on the way to ... nowhere, really. Everything about the numbers/distances involved with space is mindblowing.

Until it gets sent back 😂 (Star Trek reference)
