Things that arent as good as they used to be

When AA men wore a brown uniform and saluted customers.

Policemen wore black uniforms with no hint of Hi-Viz.

Firemen wore black tunics and yellow waterproof overtrousers and carried axes.

Saturday morning kids tv.

Black beer, felt grown up when we were allowed a drink.

The 6 week holiday was endless sunshine.
 
Went to the supermarket and got a pack of tizer for £1. Wish I hadnt, it is awful now, used to be lovely.

What else can you think of that has gone downhill over time?

For me, Blackjacks, Snickers, Hurlimanns Lager (now sub 5%), Mr Kiplings apple(core) pies.

Haven't had a pint of that for years,proper loopy juice,will turn the most placid of people into a psychopath!! I loved it....

Mars bars when they were wrapped in black paper.

Strawberry Angel Delight. Tried it last year, revolting muck, used to love it.

I just got back from the corner shop (looking for April GM) and got some Fry's chocolate cream bars......now, they're a blast from the past.....I remember them at 19p. Just paid 62p!!

Glad to see my piccy in the mag.....even with the strange legs :D
 
Tackles in football---now non existant.

The masters----lacks the excitement of yesteryear especially the back nine on sunday.

Wispa Bars----dont taste like they used to.
 
Space Dust.
Female pop singers weren't over marketed as some kind of porn star.
Cheerful uplifting pop music (non-existent now-a-days)
Musicians and not fashion models
Health and safety, or rather the lack of it.

i remember going to the cinema and having 2 films to watch. There was always a smaller film shown before the main and then in the intermission between films you would get the ice cream tubs/drinks sellers standing in the corners of the cinema with that little light on their trays .
