Same as us Martin, wind was wild and it had hardly stopped raining since yesterday morning. Sophie and I slept through most of it, but Diane was awake all night !! Much calmer now though. Hopefully get out today, or else may get cabin fever 😳

The devastation that these hurricanes cause are just horrific. I say that coz I saw one on my first visit to the Dominican years ago. They are as scary being in them as they are on the box. But is there summat that I am missing.a
When the last hurricane smashed into Texas, the coverage was immense and rightly so. but there was a Cyclone that had smashed into Bangladesh at the same time and 1,200 people were killed yet there was hardly a mention. Communities have been devastated throughout the carribbean and will be for however long. America the day after is rebuilding itself.
However, The looting from some of the scum that stayed behind sickens me to watch. There are people who have lost there houses and lives yet people feel fit to rob and steal trainers instead of building communities again.
Chuffed to bits that everyone is ok.👍

The U.K. Has an overseas aid budget of £13 Billion. Because of international rulings, none of this money this can be spent on any of the British territories that have been flattened because they have been classed as to rich. Makes my flippin blood boil.
