The Ridge - Photo's

Ah, the 5th, 6th, 7th...I know what you mean, but that has never really bothered me. I suppose they could jiggle it about a bit, but the layout works for me - left and right dog-legs, several straighter holes and a couple of longer par 3s as well as the tiddler on the 4th. Not too much walking between greens and tees either...phew!

Anyway, each to there own. Where do you knock about then backwoodsman? and just how ugly are your legs?

I'm a nomad for now - playing anywhere & everywhere from south east London. And as we normally play at weekends, can't get on a lot of tracks. But I'll stick my head up to be shot at and say that of P&P courses in immediate vicinity, I quite like Pedham Place - nice layout, cack facilities; Westerham, and Birchwood Park, nice but the oiks don't take enough care.

Don't get me wrong - I didn't dislike The Ridge - and it's better than The Weald down the road. Just wasn't my cup of tea. As to fade, draw, fade - for me it's shank hook shank so doesn't really matter which direction the course bends.

As to legs - ugly enough to prove H G Wells completely wrong
