The reader test section of the mag

You are probably better off writing to Jezz Ellwood or Neil Tappen although I think the list is probably quite long. Then it's down to pot luck. I've not been successful but would be more than happy to try that new TM putter out and see if it performs better than it looks.

Always makes me laugh when some lucky ... gets a brand new set of irons to test (will they stay in the bag...errr let me think :)) and the next guy gets a sleeve of golf balls - gutted!

I was wondering this myself when reading that section today. I might aswell stick my name down..does anyone have contact details?

Morning chaps

If anyone has not yet applied for reader testing and would like to get involved please send me an email with your current clubs and specs, your handicap and a photograph that is suitable to use in the mag....

I will add you to the list.

What happens if our clubs and handicap change - lets face it from what we say on here most of us change our clubs more often than our shirts!

Do you need updates?

I'm staggered you havent sent a V-Easy in Roberto ;)

Funny you should mention that..........
Mike has asked me to send him one when its ready and he said he will do a gadget test on it for the Mag :D
Hope they like it :D

I think forum members should get prefferential treatment, afterall we're showing more commitment to the cause as we all (well, most of us) buy the mag and dont just leave it at that.

We love you soooooooooooo much we even come and sit in your forums all day/night....now thats dedication :D

I'll have to add that the guys at GM are very good at what they send to whom normally. I get the impression that it's not hit and miss, bung whatever at whoever etc.

Certainly, the wedge I was asked to test was, I think, a 'considered' choice. Bearing in mind that I'm a high h'capper, a Mizzy tart, and probably had not considered a lesser known, better value brand like MD. The MD wedge was a fine choice. Not only has it stayed in the bag, but it's become one of my favourite clubs as I've chipped in several times with it. (Okay maybe more to do with luck than the club, but hey!).

There's nothing like receiving a package from GM to test, especially as you generally don't know what it is. Kid at Christmas!

I've sometimes had that feeling when I've read the section and thought - Hey, that's a club I could have given a real good testing to, and it would look good in my bag. Why didn't I get it!!!!!!!!

Hey I'd be happy to test anything.............
