The Open - Local Final Qualifying

+5 thro 16 on his 2nd round.

He had the hump big time after dropping a couple of shots at the end of his first round. Was doing his usual deathly stare at anyone and everyone. Was talking to Ken Brown and agreeing Monty can be a complete ahole at times. Stopped at Gullane to see some media friends on the way from the Glen at North Berwick where I shot a 69! Saw Mark James and got a filthy look from him when he recognised me from the Tampa media who all hate the sight of him! Buddy of mine shot 79 in the last group out at Gullane in the morning and had a 10 minute turnaround before he had to go out for his second round.

There is an inaccuracy in that statement....possibly more than one.

Oh Dear

David Higgins played at North Berwick and made it through

Trouble is he had 15 clubs in his bag............

Anyone got a quadruple "Face-Palm" pic......?

Not exactly. He had 14 for the regulation play. Then thinking the play was done for the day himself and his caddy packed away the gear in the car. He had a spare fairway wood in the car which he put into his bag. Then he was called back for play off and forgot to take out the extra club, only realised when out on course. Horrible way to miss out!
