Just a brief update. We have got the green light from Downshire to host it at their course which to be honest would be ideal. Its relatively flat but a good, good test of golf so I'm looking to firm up numbers asap. At the moment I have a team including HTL and minty18 so looking for one more.

It'll certainly be a day to remember and will be in the forum pages of a forthcoming edition so you'll get your name in lights. Come on forummers I'm sure there must be someone out there prepared to go through the pain barrier for a good cause.

It really is a great cause. The Macmillan nurses did so much to help my dad not only through the early days after his chemo etc but also towards the end in giving him pain relief and helping my mum cope with everything. It has special meaning to me and I'm sure there are loads of you that have been touched by cancer in some small way. Have fun playing golf, stretch yourself a bit physically and raise loads of cash for a good cause.
