The man is resting his hand on the top of his pelvis (blue arrow) not the hip (red arrow).

The hip is located 6 inches lower (not many people seem to know this) and therefore it can dramatically change our golfing posture, because we are supposed to bend from the hip and NOT the pelvis.

and even though this guy has his 'bum back' he is still in an awful posture....
