The great loft rip off

I think you're being a little unfair.
The 'D' in Di9 stands for distance, the clubs have been designed to be as long as possible, with extra club head weight etc.
So you're not comparing like for like. Below are the lofts for the Ci7 i.e. 'C' for control which are more in line with the clubs you are comparing to....yup the lofts are almost the same.

I played with a mate of mine recently, and from the same distance out, I hit 7i, he hit 4i, and he then accused me of having stronger lofted irons. Ironically, when I looked them up on the web, his are stonger lofted than mine.

just looked up the lofts/lies for mine (sad, I keep them in my wallet)

bearing in mind my clubs came out in 2006/2007, the lofts are the same as the Mizzie MX200's. Where they differ is in the lie, +1.5 to 2 deg on every club, and length +1/4" to +3/4".

so in addition to there being no standard loft, there is also no standard length and no standard lie. which all argues that we have to be cf'd.

Or at least the fitter understanding that 'x' make is more upright or not to suit each golfer. Which would be a huge bonus. But otherwise, despite the GF debate, it would appear to have have more pros than cons at this juncture!

But then we're back onto CF again!
