This paper must have the slowest website on the net. I´ve just logged on to read about last night´s game in Madrid. 23 hours after it started they´re talking about Lennon´s defence dilemma and where he should play Mulgrew. :D Anyway, 2-0 wasn´t too bad. They rarely looked liked scoring and I thought they were going to get humped.

There's a technical reason for this. If you can recall dial-up internet & the squealing sounds made by the modem when communicating with another modem (typically at your ISP), the Evening Times website is transmitted across the internet by a similar system, except rather than the squeal of modems, it is the rambling call of the typical Evening Times street vendor which modulates the informations travel.

As it takes a large amount of processing power to decipher this odd, rambling call it makes it slower for the pages to load on your PC.
