The Buffoon that Keps on Buffooning!

Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahhaha............ breathe.............. hahahahahahaha.......

Just loving the title. As much as I don't like Boris, if you're going to throw stones at least get the spelling right.

Indeed! Faux pas (buffoonery even!) only noticed too late to correct!

And it's probably a bad title anyway! In this case, his comments are neither ridiculous (it's the fact that he utters them so un-diplomatically that's ridiculous) nor amusing!

It is all very well saying things as they are - but the UK has to have an agreed policy towards, and for dealing with, countries such as Saudi - so that all parties in the UK can work in a coordinated, consistent and coherent way with that country. So for instance, and whether you like the company or not, the bosses at the major UK manufacturing and services company BAESystems, will not be overly pleased or impressed with these words of wisdom from our FS.

Johnson can choose to say what he wants - he can control that, and maybe that is exactly what he is doing for his own ends, but he cannot control the reaction of the Saudis and others that he seems determined to upset with his 'plain speaking'. And if the reaction of the Saudis were that they cancelled pending or existing contracts with BAESystems with the potential loss of thousands of UK manufacturing and services jobs - what then Johnson? He may be clever - but he is a disingenuous buffoon playing a dangerous game.
I put my question to you directly.

Do you defend Saudi's human rights or politics?

If not then do your moral convictions allow you to put commercial considerations before human rights?
