Just been watching the british amatuer at Muirfield this morning and i have to say what a standard of play and level of ball striking they really are a cut above the rest.
Watched Tommy Fleetwood against Andrew Shakespere(fleetwood won 2 and 1) and they where quite honestly awe inspiring not only there golf but the way they conducted themselves on the course interacted with the followers, where good natured to each other and an all round credit to themselves and golf in general.
As for the course i was in tears that i could not get a game it looked amazing and the open is there in 3 years, i for one will be going.
