My club is usually crap at using the web to let peole know what is going on but surprisingly theis week they've been on the ball. The course was acutally pretty dry although the greens were pretty soggy.
Got a text from the club this morning at 08.40 telling me course was open but on temps, 2 holes still closed, still under a foot of snow.
First ball i've hit in anger in 3 weeks.

Your club sends text updates. I am very impressed, wish my club would try things like that.
Have you not thought of ringing the club before you go....Am I the only one who's club has posted no course news on the web site. Would seem sensible for the club to post updates on the course status rather than expect people to pitch up with their clubs on the off chance that the course will be open again.
Not the best communication here.
Not on your own, unsurprisingly there is nothing and will be nothing on my clubs website.

and, even better, letting members know if there are temp greens and, if so, how many.
