The Astbury - Anyone played there?

I'll be honest that was my view on the 2nd. if i pulled it middle of the fairway if i hit it straight, a medium iron into the par 5. but that was only the case on the 2nd and 5th. other than that it was well routed.

give it 10years and it will be top class. shame they arent having competitions or anything, will struggle to attract members. also a shame they didnt put champ tees in to make it over 7000.

the website is so bad!!!

who knows what championship means! its not having a SSS calculated as they arent having competitions for the members, so technically it has no championships!!

They are holding europro yearly I think , Dave horsey won it last year.

If the wind is down and so is the rough it can play easy, but with the rough up and the wind up it can be a tough track !

Its not there this year, and was only there 2013 & 14. Horsey was on tour last year, Garrick Porteus won.

Horsey does hold the course record though.
