The 1892 club?

has anyone ever heard of this?

romour has it next year my club is joining this.

its a group of golf clubs where you can go and play them for free

all i know is peebles golf club is in it

anyone know anything

theres a few such 'clubs' around this planet, never heard of this one, at a wild guess I'd say its a club for any 'clubs' that were founded in 1892?

Preswich GC in M/c belongs to a 1908 club. Inwhich all clubs founded then extend tee times etc. to each other. I would expect it is along thoughs lines.

Which would make Ascot a member of the 1888 club. Anyone else in that? To be honest we have a fair number of recipricols being a Royal club and with others in the local area so we do pretty well on free games anyway.

Apparantly Lydd Golf Club opened in 1994 ........ any other course open that year who wants a reciprocol with the biggest goat track ?... sorry, just looked at their web site " fast becoming regarded as one of the finest in Kent "
