Lovely nights golf at Irvine Bogside tonight. Course and greens were in great condition, absolutely superb.

Despite another loss for me it was a great game on a lovely night. Bigslice and Valentino gelled to pip Alan and I on the last green. My ball was last seen bouncing about in the car park which I must insist was a flier out of the rough as my 9 iron carried about 150!

More tempted than ever to apply for membership for next year!!!

Well either Big Val is coming on a game or your golf was rank:whoo:

Either way the "Boys" from HDID fancy we could take you down AGAIN when ever you lot are ready:ears:

lol i was thinking that last night as i zipped home in jig time (11mins fae ma hoose). and what another 15-20 mins to thecraws home (or shorter if you move to ayrshire)
enjoyed the company and it was a nice night, team has gelled for the texas scramble yeehhhhaaaa
also just noticed i was 3 over front nine:clap:

told you it was in good nick craw, i dont think my reviews were far off do you?

Course was in great condition, greens ran true and the fairways were nice tight links turf. I would still like to see a bit more variation at Bogside, they need to try and introduce at least another one par 5 and another par 3 to break up the par 4 train. I am a fan of the course, a bit under rated as it has so many other courses in the area.

I'm just back from West Kilbride (sadly not golfing) and the greens at West Kilbride also look superb.

Are you taking money off unsuspecting golfers again? That's one way to pay your golf fees.

Won on the 18th again, "haven't played this good recently". Welcome to the club Craw.

Glad to see you playing well again, Davy. Thanks again for the invite the other week for me and my mates. I have been trying to find time to put a review on, along with the other courses we've played, but haven't got round to it yet. Anytime down here, me casa, su casa, I think is the phrase.

I had 14 pars that day (off 9), and still lost to you and Colin.

My golf was pretty rank although did manage to win a couple of critical holes when it mattered like squaring the match on 17 before bigslice put them under pressure on 18.

Good nights golf down Irvine, real nice track and a good challenge off the tee. Thanks for the invite guys and i'll see you again a week on Sat.

before you arrived last night two juniors went out to play (using a buggy) and i heard them say that they played west kilbride in the morning and said greens were ***** and slow!!! one of them shot 72 (probably scratch)

Having walked onto the course to look at the greens I can assure you that they were not ***** they looked to be in superb condition. I guess the junior in question had a bad day with the flat stick.

...here ya go, glad to help

The greens at West Kilbride are in great nick at the moment, as is the full course.

Hearing from mates, as well as this thread, that bogside is in great shape as well.

Glad you both enjoyed your game, it was a pleasure to host you. It was experience for you before Pros day, we still have to agree team colours for the day lol.

It was a really relaxed round, good plug for Sunday evening golf, we hardly saw any other players, let alone get held up.

Generally I was really pleased with how I played, especially after my tee shot on the first :o. It must have been the company. Looking forward to Saturday's medal now, who needs a new putter ! Was only one over from 7 through 15 and we stil lost. Although after Crawford fired his ball in to the side of David's van in the car park I managed to thin one through the green from 95 yards out and out of bounds - doh

I'm not admitting liability for anything!
