Some really good stuff if not a bit cheesy at times
The technology for the green is impressive
Certainly a good start and base to work from
Glad the commentators were a little reserved and didn’t go over the top
Players seemed to enjoy and were having fun
Will pick a team after the have all played

A cringeworthy watch. Inoffensive, but just looked like a bunch of multi-millionaires having a bit of a jolly.

Watched it when I got up this morning.
Actually quite enjoyed it, players came accross as genuine, didn't seem forced. Looked like they were having fun.
Sky coverage was a bit dodgy. Didn't seem to cut away when the US commercials were on.
In all honesty a lot better than I was expecting.

I didn't mind it. Recorded it, then watched it as breakfast. Never really a fan of American hosts and all their "banter", but maybe that's just me. But, once you fast forward through the ads and some of the filler, can basically watch it in around an hour. So, probably wouldn't watch it every week, unless it got really good, but I can see me watching it every now and then when I've an hour to kill.
The rotating green that can change it's undulations is pretty cool. And some funky hole designs can be quite interesting, first time I've seen a hole with lava. Also can't wait for the first time a player shanks it and misses the screen, or thins a pitch into the crowd.
Bit like what Big Break was for snooker, except you don't have normal people playing. I'm sure the format could be developed in the future to make it more interesting, was alright for starters.

anyone found a way of watching this ? ive got Now TV subscription on my IPad but neither the goof channel or other channels even have a mention of it, let alone a way of watching last nights ? ta

Well I've just watched the opening 45 minutes of the first show...
Impressive technology.
Apart from that, yawnfest.
Maybe interesting for some half drunk wooping and a hollering yanks, but I can't see why anyone who watches proper golf would be interested.
It won't last.

Golfing wife had the rerun on from 7pm.
At 8pm we turned over to watch Kirsty and bloody Phil. Frankly, it's more watchable.

Saw a 15min Youtube highlights vid released online this morning but frustratingly its only one teams shots (shane lowrys team) so its a bit pointless as there's no frame of reference to the score/result
