My original point was purely to do with the lack of interst on their forums. They seem to have way too many different sections but no-one ever seems to post. We had an 8 page thread on electric trolley's and most threads on here average 25 or so posts. I can't understand if they are suppose to be the most popular magazine why they can't generate the same level of reader following and loyalty

Why do you continue to diss TG. So what! Whats the big deal. So they concentrate on a few sponspors. There articles are crap in some peoples opinion. Not enough content, copy GM etc etc. Its all been said before.

I hate cabbage but I dont go looking at it, tasting it, sniffing it, licking it. I just simply avoid it, If Im offered it I refuse politely, I dont go on about how rubbish it is.

I suggest you do the same Homer, and anyone else that dont like it, and avoid TG and treat it as cabbage.

Remember some people love cabbage and even make it into soup. :D

At the time it was originally in response to a PM from someone new asking why the two forums are poles apart. As I hadn't been on it for ages I simply logged on and reported back. In the same vein I reiterated my point that they seem to have numerous threads but no responses. My point wasn't so much we (GM forum) are better (though in my opinion that's true) or we have less mistakes or even our mags better than yours (if you want to break it down to its basic denominator). It was a question of why such a popular magazine has failed to capitalise on its readership, No TG bashing just a straightforward question (although I do hold my hand up to some TG baiting historically)

I still know I dont like cabbage. :p

Homer I wasnt meaning you individually, your post was above mine when I was posting, It was more a general comment. Although as the middle man between forum and mag it could be seen as unprofessional some of your comments on the "oppositon".

Just my itty little thoughts.

By the way the forum pages in the mag are comming on a treat. Well done and keep up the good work.

I agree with you to a point which is why I never pursued the thread at the time. It was only really a discussion point on how one magazine has really engaged its readership and the other has tried to do the same and not managed to achieve the same thing. To be fair now I'm deeper in, its not really such a valid thread for me to continue with but at the time it seemed to have some value.
