Taylormade PRICE CRASH..........Whats Going On......?????

Not really strange, TM bring out new models too often which leaves the retailers having to make a killing on the kit when it first comes out and then offloading the surplus ASAP before TM launch the next great big super long and straight anti-hookslice aerodynamic sweet spot magnetic high speed face - which actually turns out to be no more or less forgiving or long than any other manufacurers kit.

Don't get me wrong, they make some good kit but they make too much of it IMHO
 
Went to AG tonight with my old man, he ended up with a 10.5 deg R11S Driver and a 15.5 deg reg 3 wood R11S. He had a go with pretty much everything and narrowed it down between the R11's and Ping G20's. The adjustability of the R11's swung it in the end. Ended up getting both for £370 too, not to shabby considering they would have been about £500 last week :thup:
 
Having had a shot of the R11s driver and the original R11 I prefer the smaller head shape and size of the R11.

RBZ is way to light for me.
 
I like a light driver, more head speed- might have to try this now, the white isnt as offputting as it was
 
prices seem to have dropped around 30 quid on an updated model, unlike the RBZ which seems to be holding its price for now probably due to demand. I wouldnt get all dramatic and call it a crash though.

When they first came out they were £330 now at £250, thats almost a 25% drop in 5 months, I'd call that a typical dramatic flood the market drop the price TM special!

Maybe on certain online shops, locally they seem to have stepped down less noticeably.
In my opinion, no single club should cost that much anyway.
